I loved this, and it is a wonderful message to your friend on her birthday. This was a really fun piece to read, and I for one will definitely be looking out for more of your poems. I really enjoyed reading it.

Debi seems very popular on this site! She must feel honoured to have so many people sing her praises and wish her happy birthday. I agree that "the poetry bug is contagious!" and I was well and truly bitten years ago although I did lose my muse for a few years but it's back now. Lucky Debi!

I do not know what you mean when you say the last poem??? Do you mean alll poetry or just birthday poems?

This poem is a very well deserved birthday poem for Debi. Maybe I missed something lately. You are promising that this will be your last poem. I hope that is a misprint.

Dear Mary, This is really kind, to write a Birthday Ode to the Birthday Queen! We all love Debi, and we continue to pray for her and admire her courage - so, allow us to share in this lovely poem in her honor.
It doesn't matter how good or bad we are at writing, she honors us anyway!
