This story, The Badass, is a fascinating tale of traveling on faith and luck down to be a family pit crew. It sounds so amazing, of course, though at the time I'm sure it was grueling.

I'm afraid I don't know too much about pitting so I have learned a lot here. I'm so glad that you made it there because that badass seemed quite an intimidating individual. Very impressive, indeed, and it's nice to hear you got to build your own car. That must have been an experience, too!

I've never been mad about car racing, but I have lots of friends who have, including my elder daughter, I don't know where she got that from. Looks like a lot of locations in Australia from the desert shot, we have lots of old dry lake beds in Australia, beautifully written Frank, blessings Roy
