This is an excellent poem for the challenge and your presentation is very good, too. You also use evocative words and colorful imagery that will draw in a readers.

This is very nice. The only thing, if I may suggest, is a slight rewrite on that last end rhyme. To prevent repeating the same word.

At times there are gaps, and your instinct craps when you find that there just isn't one.
or
At times there are gaps, and your instinct craps, then you find out this isn't fun.
