I like the atmosphere created by this poem which has the correct form for a triolet. Your rhyming is good but I think that a couple of your lines are rather on the long side. For example your fifth line has fifteen beats in it whereas your first line has just nine. I would have tried to make the rhythm a bit more consistent in order to make the poem easier to read out loud with some flow.

and "Cracking leaves."
