What a fantastic haiku, Gypsy. The pictures were wonderful- first of the sleeping lady then the flower. Your words were unique in that they encompass the whole sleep mode. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

I enjoyed this haiku. It has a gentle feeling throughout, is correct as a good example of haiku with well chosen words, and the picture to illustrate it does so to perfection.

Nothing is as peaceful as the "starry sky's canopy" and the thought of the sky and the soothing lullaby of the sea makes for a perfect night's sleep. A lovely haiku!

Hello,
This was a great haiku it was only a few lines but it was so calming and melted great with the picture.Your talking about the night sky but it was way more elegant really nice work.

I remember a friend in college who painted her ceiling and walls an indigo blue. She painted dayglo stars all over it and had a wall of different plants. She anchored a hammock to the walls. It did wonders for her anxiety ... at least, until her landlord found out. Your poem made me flash back. Great poem. Gretchen
