This is an excellent end of a chapter. I enjoyed reading it. Your presentation is very good, too. You also use descriptive words and colorful imagery that draw in a reader. I love the dialogues you write.

Best wishes!

Alexandra

So lucky I still had a six left. Normally they would all be gone. Great new chapter. I really like the story. Seth is a good guy and he's looking after Emmy. Ulla xx

Hello, Barbara, another enjoyable chapter. I like the way Seth takes care of Emma and compromises. I'm curious to see how the Peggy and Mr George Elliot thing turns out.

Well done!

hmm, something isn't right. I hope we learn more at the meeting. But Seth will set it right, I'm sure. Whatever Peggy is up to, it won't wash with Seth, but it might upset Emma. Well done, Barbara. I hope you had a lovely time with your family. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you for the kind review. Peggy will cause a lot of heart ach for Emma.

I guessed as much. She seems the type to cause trouble. I've posted the last chapter in the first part. The next part when I come home will be two years later. That's the plan, anyway! 😊

Only eighteen days. Seems longer. So, Peggy Barton targets rich men. Hmmmm. Probably to falsely accuse them and get money from them. I'm glad Seth and Emma are settling in their relationship.

It does seem longer because I only post once a week and often the same day continues for two weeks. That's why I mention it. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

I understand. No criticism intended. I'm loving the story.

Emma seems to be wearing down in the chapter, and Seth is slowly getting past her stubborn independence streak with these warm moments spent cheerfully helping her out. The news of this public information slip maybe coming from the police staff is a bit unsettling and Seth seems to be pretty aggressive in rooting out the cause. It almost seems to be a darker side of him, but we do feel the concern between these two for their public image. There's suspense building in this one, some sort of explosion seems on the horizon. estory

This is one of your better chapters, Barb. This Peggy and George situation was a good addition to the story. I'm sure the reader is looking forward to what lies ahead.
