Sounds like "Emma" not happy with "Seth" constantly hovering over her or being early. More and more this is beginning to look like two lovebirds are about to share a roost. To have a trained dog like "Ace" would be awesome.

I'm sorry I missed this one, (and many others that I follow) I've had a lot of health issues to deal with. We are going on a cruise around the Canary Islands on Friday for two weeks, so I'll catch up when we come home. I've saved a six for you if you post the next chapter before I go. I hope you had a lovely time with your granddaughters.
Anyway, the story is moving along nicely, the relationship between Emma and Seth is beginning to ripen, at least on Seth's part. I'm sure it is with Emma as well if she would only knock down that protective barrier she has erected. I'm sure we will learn the reason for that soon. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thanks for sharing the picture of the bedroom. I enjoyed this chapter very much. With Emma feeling better, it was more upbeat, and she was more like her self, but better. She has a number of ideas for her place, and even let Seth help her with her hair.

She seemed to do fine at the bakery and was more talkative. I assume it was Seth who got the tulip bulbs for her? That was a nice gesture and she appreciated it, and almost hugged him, another huge step!

I also liked the ending when Emma had a treat bag all prepared and sent it with Ace. I'm sure he proudly took it to Seth at the station. A very good chapter!! Enjoy your visit with your granddaughters.

A day in the life of this character. I can feel her need to have everything be okay. There is an air about her that tells me or at least makes me feel like she is only at the beginning of her journey.

Nice the love story is developing without an incident, and maybe this injury if the respiro that they needed to develop the story. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Hello, Barbara,

Another fun fill chapter about Seth and Emma. They are so cute together. Seth is very protective of Emma.... I think deep inside she likes it. I hope they kiss soon. LoL

Have fun with your granddaughters.

I think she likes it too, but is afraid to admit it. They will kiss under some interesting circumstances.

To me the very idea of caring is doing things for others that you do not have to do, you do them because you truly want to. Doing things you are forced to do is not being nice, it is being dutiful.

This little 'romance' continues between Seth and Emma. It's still very cautiously conducted and one always feels that Emma is in control here. Perhaps painting the bedroom (although a bit of a cool colour) might spur the relationship on a bit:)? Thanks Barbara, Debbie

Emma and Seth keep doing small little things for each other. That's common in a close relationship so I'm wondering how much longer they can hold out before they acknowledge it. I know, it's only been eighteen days, but they seem to fit together so well.
Excellent dialogue and interaction between the characters.
