This is an excellent story. I enjoyed reading it. Your entire presentation is good. You use descriptive words that draw in a reader. I loved the dialogues too.

The pets are not about to change. They run the show. Best to have no meetings in my opinion. At least you would save yourself the embarrassment of bowing to them.

thanks for sharing the thoughts of Sunny with us. It's interesting to see the different spin that he puts on activities. I admire you for taking such good care of him. We spoiled our dog to no end. It got so bad that in the morning when I ate a bowl of cereal, he had to have some as well, and it had to have milk on it or he would give me the evil eye. The kids thought he was out of control, but I thought he was just right.

This is so cute! You have a great ability to read the doggy mind. Simple and straight-forward, yet it's so difficult to change those annoying habits. I know that Flora brings her food under my dining/writing chair to be with me, but the floor mat is starting to look disgusting. Oh well, better a faithful dog than an immaculate mat!
