It's fiction but most women compare themselves and to unreasonable modle bodies and feel pressure to loose erweight and have plastic surgeries. Not me.

Our society pushes people not to be realistic. Nature knows it's place and is content being happy with how they were created. I wish humans would follow suite. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous package with us.

I like the comparison of the young girl desiring to be a model. But a lotus can be completely a beautiful "model" without becoming a rose. The girl needs to realize her own beauty.

The lotus doesn't want to be a lotus because in nature all are equal. Humans think we are separate but we are not.

I like your haiku poem - nice picture presentation- good syllable count and flow - excellent message- the lotus (normal people) always our own worst critics - wishing we were someone or something else- " then I'll be happy " not able to recognize their own intrinsic beauty- nicely done - AP

This is so short and yet so full of meaning. It's a pity we worry so much about our physical appearance and not only when we are teenagers. Our society has a lot to answer for.
P.S. I like lotus flowers better than roses, which might mean that beauty is subjective.
