Gypsy,

I do like this idea you penned for your Haiku. You chose an illustration that pairs nicely with your words.

I debated about your last line. I guess it would take on a slightly different nuance if written as:

still warmed (sic) from the sunset

Mark

P.S. IMHO I would have chosen a yellow or golden font color to match with your sunset image instead of your green to match the plant.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Dusk is such an appealing time of day as day drifts toward night and nature's colour paints an amazing image.
You have captured the contrast of impending change quite artfully in the blending of word an image.
Uplifting and serene.
Blessings
Shirley

Hi Gypsy Queen,
you painted this image so perfectly, it made me go straight in my mind to where I go to sit each late afternoon to pay homage to the going down of the sun... where day become illuminated in hues and colours that makes one know, we are all being swaddled in the comfort of its beauty and awe by some magic-beautiful architect way greater than what any of us can conceive.

Dusk's stardust drifts... yes, I wait for Venus every night when the sky allows. To witness the first to show her beauty in our skies to the west... bright and truly beautiful within the in between time.... the time of serenity.

Your second line... 'over darkening foothills'... describes what I'm actually looking at, perfectly. As does the...'still warmed by the sunset'

Your mastery with words and painting an image is something that relates so much with the 'feeling' of, is not only a visual delight, but a sensual delight also!

Verdaderamente hermosa en todos los aspectos Reina Lobo Gitana.

With our thoughts we create...
the drift between time.

Warm regards,
James.

Thank you, James. It's always a pleasure to hear from you. You are always thoughtful and helpful. I appreciate your words imagery. You should try Japanese poetry some time. You would be great at it.

I think that was a challenge?
I try to be me and let myself be seen... I know, It's been a very long road to get to where I can and not worry what others may think of me. when I jumped that hurdle, I felt rather liberated. So now it's, you only get the real me... no more masks... maybe still a couple of wall to go, but I am a perpetual active process always trying to improve on yesterday's version. That is my ultimate goal for this life... to be the best version of myself I can be.
You may see me writing some form of Japanese form... and I am really good friends with master at it, so I know I'm only a question away from understanding.

This was a visually enticing poem. It had a fantasy feel to it. Maybe it was the mention of stardust that gave it the feeling of whimsy. At any rate, it was a lovely poem. Gretchen

What a fine haiku, Gypsy. The pictures were a joy-they showed the secret of dusk. Your words brought it all together-the warmth of dusk. Blessed be n hugs!!!

Great use of alliteration of D-words in this poem (dusk, -dust, drifts, darkening) and S-alliteration (still, sunset). And I like how you invoke the visual and sense of feeling with the sun-warmed foothills.

You are very detail oriented. The stardust was still warm due to the sun. I also love the "D" alliterations in the poem. The presentation is also very good.

Well done.

I like your haiku poem - good picture presentation- connecting with picture- good syllable count and flow - suggest 'warmed' grammar- won't change syllable count - Good job
