What a beautifully constructed work!! The writing seems funny and sarcastic at times, but it cannot hide the pain and trauma underneath. You have a unique style, let me tell you.

I enjoyed the strength portrayed in your story Iza, we only get one life and we need it to be the best and only we can choose. You took the bull by the horns here and carved a life out for yourself to make you happy. For too long we are the servants of others and feel aggrieved at not taking control. You did it and I am proud of you. A fine write, much enjoyed. Living alone does not mean you are all alone, love Dolly x x x

This piece is really an expression of that feeling you get when you turn the page on a bad chapter and open the door to a new life. There is that sense of a breath of fresh air, and the excitement of having a clear path ahead, and the freedom to explore where you want to go with it. Nothing like freedom. estory

This was a fun read with a happy ending. My daughter was also in a 12-year marriage and was much happier when she got out of it. Often that's what it takes to reset yourself. Nice job with this. - Jim
