No apologies needed. The advanced editor does some funny and frustrating things. Technology drives me nuts sometimes. Anyway, your poem is a good one and clearly portrays the soaring feeling. Please do not get too exhausted as it would be a pity not to have you do some more writing.

It's nice that you get up and share your poems. I took up public speaking in school and never got over the jitters when giving a speech or reading a poem.

I love the idea of a soaring mermaid. Why not? The Sirens originally had wings and then had mermaid tails so what is to keep the mermaid from adopting wings and flying? Maybe they've had that ability all along and you were the first to discover it. Shush. It may still be a secret.
