I don't think I aware have encountered the little people, seen some compiling evidence they exist. Certainly, I do not doubt the existence of others beings that walk on two feet. This view is given in my opinion.

What a rollicking and fun poem. I enjoyed reading it very much and think you did a stellar job on the construction, presentation, end rhyme choices and the whole attitude of enjoying the fairies. So cute and well done.

This is a very fun poem and I like how you used descriptive words. I think it's interesting to the different cultures have fairies and different creatures like that. Excellent work best wishes!

Dear poet, very wondrous
rhyming poem on fairies. I
agree with you, I think fairies,
gnomes, elves, etc. are in the mystical woods. I do feel
they are real. They're very
skilled at evading us, I believe.
Lovely poem. My best wishes
and blessings. ~

I love that my birthday falls on international Fairy Day. The first two stanzas create a lively scene. (I'd love to see dragons romp! The last one piques my curiosity. Well done, debi.

Happy Belated Birthday, Shari.! Next year, maybe a few fairy folk will show up to help you celebrate and sprinkle some fairy dust around.
Thank you for the analysis and kind comments.

Well done, though I know not of such things as fairies; well, almost.
I'd rather have them be real than other things that make believe they are something they are not. (crypticly written for self-defense). Interpret me as you may. I am okay being me.

Thank you for telling us about International Fairy Day! Who knew? You, of course! Robyn Corum used to always share special days like this. I'm glad that you have taken on the baton to share. You're right - I know even in Korean stories, their are fairies, too!

    Hi Helen,
Yes, who knew. I usually send out the holidays from the National Holiday Calendar each morning to my siblings and niece's and nephews. I was tardy on June 24 and didn't see the holiday until afternoon. I wish I'd seen it a few days earlier and created a contest. Oh, well, next year.
Thank you for sharing about the Korean stories. Those little tricksters are everywhere, aren't they?
    Have a wonderful day.

A delightful poem, Debi, to celebrate Fairy Day. You have some lovely rhymes, and I particularly liked the lines,
Small leprechauns will dance and stomp
while mermaids swim and dragons romp.'
Something about dragons romping make them seem playful as opposed to fearsome creatures.
Thank you for sharing the information about the magical day as well as your lovely poem.
