Your poem is a polished gem and deserves to do well in the contest. You speak for many of us who value truth and are disturbed by what we currently see happening around us. Evident=evidence=truth. Truth should be self evident as it is a fact, yet many people never want to face facts. So many are reimagining their 'own truth' these days... i.e. fabricating the narrative to suit their own selfish agenda.

Excellent piece, author. This can cover so, so many things in what we see in our world today. I am deeply disturbed too. Heartbroken and fearful as well. Sadly many truths are just swept under the rug and allowed to keep festering while the world sits around watching it happen, without the ability to do anything about it. I could go on but I'll just leave it at that. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Great write.
