Congratulations on your win. I can understand why you won. This is a marvelous and well written story of a cat (and a lesson for us humans) of the need for the love and comfort of home.
Best wishes
Mary

Hi Lobber,
This is a well told story about going after adventure and how it can bring on yearning for home. Adventure can be good for a change, but love and home is the best place of all. Peace is found in sharing times with loved ones with or without words.
Congrats on winning the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great rest of the week.

Congratulations on your well deserved win. You told a compelling story about the adventures of a cat, but included a message for all mankind. Your rhymes flowed easily and the story was cleverly executed. Well done.

Nice set up and presentation,
Bamboo has learned his lesson that there us no place like home. It's a lot harder and less scary.
Being able to curl up in Danikkes lap for comfort helps him relax and his eyes tell of the things he's been through while gone.

The simple joy of a cat finding a home and a person gaining a cat.
I really like how you approach the subject in this poem. The story you told within is very good and very clever! I like the feline's plea at the end it's very appropriate! I see no issues with grammar spelling or choice or sentence structure. I also find it aesthetically pleasing with that really need profile of the cat. That's a great submission don't I hope you have a grand day!

    Hello My Friend,
This is a true story from a nurse at a hospital clinic. She treats me, sometimes three times a week. Who doesn*t love a cat under stress and duress! Danielle had to take a day off when Bamboo returned. She with a Vet nursed Bamboo back to health. He?s anxious for another visit to the ravine!
    Thanx for the six-pak!

I love your story in a poem Lobber. You told well, Bamboo's 2 weeks of freedom in the wilds of the woodlands before returning home to the one that loves him. Beautifully presented, and good luck in the contest. Cheers
Valda
