This was really interesting. I had never heard of him, and I would think I would have. He must have killed and crippled hundreds of people. Although he apparently got it right occasionally, as he was so well liked. It's amazing he had time to start all these radio stations.

Growing up all we had for entertainment was Radio. I remember "The Hit Parade and many Soap Opéra's, like "Ma Perkins," "Stella Dallas" and "Our Gal Sunday." In the evening "The Shadow" soooo scary. LOL Dad listening to the Cardinal Baseball Games was often my lullaby at night. This DR. you wrote about should have been locked up! Good Heavens what were they thinking? Interesting! Well done. This was a very interesting story in the way that you told it. I appreciated listening to it. I can't imagine what it was like back in those days for people to have been taken in by such a fraud. Brinkley sounds like quite a trickster. But he made a real career of it, making sure that he spread his definition of 'life' far and wide, and now of course he famous, I wonder what went on their collective minds that compelled them to do these things. Beautifully written Brett, blessings Roy

All I can say is can not please everybody. So, if one star is what you truly believe this post was worth, so be it even though your difficult to read review, full of typographical errors though it may be, has absolutely nothing to do with what this posting was about.
