Sally, This is a great chapter you have penned. I felt like I was watching a TV show as I read each of your words. You used great descriptive and true words. I worked for our Police Department for about 15 years when I was in my later 20's. I enjoyed the things I got to do and see. I work in the records department and helped the police officers get things they needed to take on the street with them. Then later I was an executive secretary for a Police Capt. Thank you for sharing! love and blessings Teri

At least the defence is wise enough not the contend the charges, whatever that means. Not many writers get to be main characters in their stories, heh heh, Hank and Betty Jo have cemetery their relationship and Fitzgerald Elling is not granted bail, being an enemy to the public, beautifully written Sally, blessings Roy

Unless I have miss counted, I think there's been three couples formed during this novel. That's great. I love it. I am also glad Fee's bail was denied. I sure hope everything with him continues to go our way. I do like this story.

Dear Barbara, yes, there has been a lot of romance in this one and it probably isn?t going let up anytime soon. I still have to get on with Hank and Betty. I?m glad you?re enjoying it all though and appreciate the excellent review and stars.
Sending all my very best to you all,
Sal XOs

It has been a long time since I was in a courtroom and hearing such as this but it seems as though you have pegged right. Good one. Sal. I think the old boy is nailed.

Wow, this is really quite a 'hold your breath moment' as the arraignment is being carried out and we await the pleas to this shedful of violent crime. Prior to that the love scene played out with Hank and Betty Jo against a background of imminent separation. I'm quite exhausted, Sally! You certainly know how to inject pace and excitement into your faultlessly written prose and I look forward to reading your next chapter. Thanks for sharing. Debbie
