I am so sorry to read this poem, written with raw grief and pain. It is well composed, in terms of rhyme and metre, and the theme is very moving as you cry out to God, knowing that time can't be reversed, but that is what we all wish and pray for at times. My condolences and love to you and Becky and all those who are touched by the death of this young man.

Hi Wendy, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and your caring support for our sad loss of Aaron. The hardest is watching Becky and the kids have to go through so much right now. I hope she has half of the support system with others as I have with all of my wonderful friends here. Love you all and thank you so much.

"Go back another day" is a sad title for this poem. My eyes are red when going through this poem.

In reality there isn't any chance of going back. The past is the past. The only thing we can do is to keep the good memories. Try to be strong and look forward to the future. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Sorrow is supposedly catharsis in itself, but I think it depends on when the loss occurs. I lost my dad when I was seventeen. For most that would have been terrifying, and a sister when she was 45 (hit by a bus) caused a lot of grief but later left mom and two more sisters, yet in senior years it was less abusive. Time heals most losses.

This is well made, personal and emotional. It reads more like a letter, than just poetry but it is crafted with heart felt love and compassion. Who knows why things happen as they do. We wish we had answers.

This is just devestating, Debi. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences. I'm praying now for you all and for Becky and the children. Your poem was tender and heartfelt. How we all wish we could turn back the clock. Beautifully penned poen/prayer/plea, my sweet friend. Thank you for the beautiful songs too. Both are very uplifting and comforting.
Jackson and I send our love to you all.

Oh. How tragic and sad. I am thinking of you and your whole family. Things like this take us off guard. We rarely understand but over time, we accept it as part of life. May his memories bring y'all joy and his life be celebrated. So very sorry, Debi. Gretchen

Please know this, God our creator retains in his vast and awesome memory, everyone who was ever born. The day will soon come when he will soon satisfy the longing he has to converse with, bless and celebrate the successful life of his dear friends, Moses, Noah, Abel, and so many more. By all means mourn the death of those we love who we also lose in death. This is not the end. The Bible promises that there will be a resurrection. Many now lying dead in graves and memorial tombs, will see life again here on earth and will never see pain, sickness or death ever again. This is a promise for bot Jesus and his father, Jehovah God.

My prayers are with Becky, her family, and you
and yours, Debi. Your poem was masterfully written
in technique and words straight from your heart.
The repeated last line of each verse was poignant and
heartbreaking. Your words were thought out,
descriptive, but more important from your heart to
Becky's heart. Your video choices were perfect.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of
a beautiful soul--Aaron.
