This non-fiction is a stunning and memorable recounting of this nightmare period in history when people were killed for no other reason than their ethnicity, nationality or simply speaking the truth. Thanks for sharing, Bill.

An exceptionally well-crafted work that held my attention from beginning to end.
The atrocities of WWII still haunt me...just as those of Korea and Vietnam.
I cannot comprehend and/or bear to think of man's inhumanity to man, and yet, it still persists...

Thank you very much, diane. These atrocities have always fascinated me too. It seems as though it is the natural state of some, which is very hard to fathom, as you point out. Maybe it's just part of the human condition.
