Aww I wanted to give this six stars but I have no more left!... I completely agree! Free verse has it's place but a good rhyme with a melody to it just feels right. And I love the mental exercise of finding just the right words. What a lovely little ditty you have here! :) Thanks for sending it to me!

Quite a drawing! Professional looking. At least you know yourself well. That's half the battle: "I'm not a free verse kind of girl, not even for part-time" I always got motion sick on the merry-go-round. Kind of sad. Your poem was a merry-go-round metaphor.

Finally, I get to review this darling poem and leave a worthy six stars! Of course I love your Merry~Go~Rhyme as you are the queen of rhyming poetry. I'm the queen of silly. My nickname in school, among the many, was Silly. Now you know. No surprise there, I suppose. I was also the chaplain of my high school club so when I'm not praying I'm prone to smiling and laughing. This poem makes me smile and forget all my troubles! Just like you! This is perfect in every way and the art is too. Stunning in theme and presentation.

Bright and joyful; what the world needs at the moment! It made me smile and I could envisage the excitement of the circus and especially the trapeze (I used to break out in a sweat as a kid watching these people fly through the air!). I love poems that rhyme like this. Great poem!

Hey you little brother. I am still on my way to come see you and read your let it rhyme post, but I am having a hard time trying to catch up. Yet being over 500 behind, I doubt I ever will. (Yes, you heard me right!) I know that many know about my vision at least until next month when I have the surgeries, so they understand. However, I don't want to ever forget those that are giving their precious six stars. And I'd not forget you anyway, so expect to see me at your place for a visit tonight yet.

Jim, what a nice compliment. Since I have never heard of a format that has the same restrictions as these with a one or two lines in between for the up and down effect, the fun and musical bounce, must rhyme with normal stanzas, has to be in the middle of the page for more of a circle of life, round and round feel it. etc ..... then I will take the credit. I liked Sally's but just love the middle of the page, center stage as I put it. But for what she does, you just can't beat her fun. So is why we call them sister acts..
You put my horse up on the highest mode and it doesn't want to come down for a little bit. Thanks for that Jim. You are the greatest!

Hi Lorraine, I apologize for this being so late. My eye specialist has restricted my time on my ipad until next months surgeries. I do read them all as they come in and although I am late, I do keep plucking away at them. But I wanted to make sure you knew how much your awesome review means to me.
