That is a really good Haiku. The last line is the key to the whole poem. I think you will do well in the contest. The picture really enhances the poem.

Very beautiful and poignant reminder of those who have given their lives, or lost their lives. A thought-provoking photo, and the play on lost and found is very well done. Best wishes for your entry.

The ending, ''where my lost are found'', is a very emotional line for impact. The scene and mood are set earlier with the use of ''whispers'' and ''sun sets''. Separation through death is so sad for those left to grieve.

this was a good 575 poem
a slight suggestion would be... changing the "while" and "my"... and putting a slight pause at the end of the first line...
A cool breeze whispers ~
sun sets on neighboring stones~
where the lost are found
just a couple thoughts i had as i read...
thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest
shelley :)

Yes, a cemetery where those dear ones that have been lost in noble pursuits are buried, it's a place of sadness, but also joy, at what they have left behind in this world, beautifully written, blessings Roy

This is an excellent 5-7-5 poem for the contest
with a quiet theme of loss as the sun sets and the breeze blows.
Nice use of alliteration.
Best wishes to you.
