I'm wondering how anyone suddenly can feel like they are in MRI machine when they were not even near a hospital (supernatural instincts). This story is complexed. It has left me with an unexpected feeling of "I don't know" either.

This story has some intriguing moments of what is going to happen when or if he is going to discover the correct opening. When he does discover it a surprising moment for not only Kurt but me as a reader. You carried the anticipation over very well.

What a uniquely interesting story.
Couple of catches:
"Keep chugging forward," his guide yelled back at him, "we're almost there."
(him. "We're almost)
"A chamber."
(Drop period add question mark )
memories?"
"Stop," Danny said, rubbing his palm against his forehead. "myth aside," he paused, "It is also said it's filled with crystals and diamonds the size of your fists."
(Capitalization myth)
