He was a humble man who served his Master well, and to the best of his ability, and the Lord honoured that. I was glad that he was honoured in this way by the secular world (although there were perhaps some Christians on the committees who decide such things for special events). Thanks for a lovely review. That is a fascinating story, Wendy. Well done. Imagine, without Arthur's Law, children could not legally draw hopscotch patterns on the footpath, nor could pavement artists do their amazing chalk pictures. Jx

A young boy born of alcoholic parents, becomes a ward of the State, and has to steal food, becomes a young man who joins the military and later becomes a Christian. From humble beginnings, his adult actions inspires a nation. I enjoyed reading an example of how a life can change for the better.
