I enjoyed reading this suite of 5-7-5 poem on reflections of ANZAC day. It was a sombre day here with rain and grey clouds. Your suite depicted well the respect bestowed to these brothers in arms. A wonderful tribute.

Just a note on this line:
We honour their spirit - it is six syllables in stead of five.

I also enjoyed your reflection notes and applaud you for your kind and friendly gesture extended to foreigners visiting your beautiful land. Thank you for sharing.

God bless and comfort you all on your day of remembrance. Beautifully written and illustrated poem in this unique form, Lisa May. How good of you to share from your wealth of knowledge. A touching poem in honor of ANZAC Day.

I consider your losses my own and still recall my fallen of WWI in France.

Sending you my best today as always.

We watched all the services from the local here in South Australia to Gallipoli, and then to France, it was very today, it seems more moving these days, we've been to Gallipoli, we had a Turkish guide, a fair bit different story. Beautifully written Jenny, blessings Roy

Well done. The poetic beginning, the prose reflection, and especially what you did today. The young man was not responsible for what happened In the past and such actions as yours are healing. If everybody thought and did likewise it would really promote international understanding, harmony and peace.

Thanks for your review, Wendy. Simon is so impressed with how friendly Kiwis are (he hasn't been to Oz yet, where people are friendly too)... being shown around by a stranger for several hours would be rare in Europe apparently... isn't that sad!

This poem, We Honor the Spirit, is a nice tribute and recognition for the men lost from the Australian New Zealand Army Corps during WWI. To see the offspring of that conflict walk together in peace is a good thing.

You were quick off the mark, Bill. I don't think I'd finished styling it and you missed out on the member money I've just put on it. I appreciate your review!
