This is great. I will be sending this to my daughter as she is in the process of writing a script that deals with a 'serial killer' that preys on men who enter her greenhouse. A potted ending for most.

I enjoyed this poem all the way through but am struggling to capture the full meaning and intent of the last stanza. I like the quick pace and the rhymes were unforced. You've created a fun poem.

Thank you! The last stanza wraps it up by revealing the Witch's plan to cast the same spell on her sister's new husband, that she has on her boyfriends in the past. She turns them to seeds and plants them on Halloween night- and they bloom in her spring garden. Each flower, a trapped man. Oof, I may be a little twisted...

Wow. It's rare I find myself leaving sixes on contest entries. This is so very well done! Whoever you are, if this isn't seriously in the running for first place I'd eat my witches hat! (I've read it out loud twice now and it's actually FUN to recite!)

A very witchy, bewitching rhyme. A nicely woven story of witchy misdeeds. Pity twin sister kept losing her fellows, but it sounds like there was a good supply always popping up. Poetry very nicely done. Julie L

This story in a poem show how jealousy can cause pain, but no stop love.
It seems the sister does get married despite the scariness of her sister bringing a Halloween feel to Spring.
