cool ode to autumn my favorite time of the year. Perhaps because I am an October baby born just before Halloween, the autumn always seemed like a time of renewal for me.

Hi,
This is a nice concise ode to Autumn. Pumpkins are a good sign of the season for they are used for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, in decorations and pies. I like the the color scheme matches the pumpkin theme. I also like that you include what looks like either cottonwood or dandelions seed fluffs,

I can hardly wait for autumn to come because of pumpkin spice coffee and pumpkin spice candles. I adore the scent and sometimes just bake a pie just so I can smell it. Marvelous poem in 5-7-5 form.

Perfect for the prompt. As I read, I double checked the syllable count, ran it through an online syllable counter and looked up the words on Dictionary.com to ensure the syllables. You nailed it!!!

Just one consideration:

morning aroma
[fills the] air with pumpkin spice- (perfumes air with pumpkin spice-)
the scent of autumn

I try to critique contest entries as if I were voting. The above suggestion would make it standout a bit more, maybe slightly more unique.

I double-check the syllables on my suggestion as well, and it is 7 in that form.
