This certainly adds some excitement to your story, and it isn't as if tornadoes are rare these days. Seth and Emma did everything right to save themselves. Hopefully the local people did also.

I am so sorry you had to read this when no money is attached, but I appreciate that you did.

This was an interesting chapter where a great deal happened, and Seth and Emma grew much closer. I enjoyed reading it a great deal, except:
Jake studied her. "Pumpkin, I know you well enough to know there's something else. Out with it." > didn't seem to sit well as placed. kay

Hi Barbara, well tornadoes are not to be sneezed at and the they are frightening. I have been in one major one in Missouri and we we went down in the shelter.nwe were lucky as it passed us over, but many were killed in that one.
This was another wonderful chapter and very realistic. Ulla, xx

This was a good read. It felt as realistic as what you hear in the news. I liked this part: The winds died, and Emma exhaled. "Is it over?"
I didn't see anything major to change. Nice write.

I was very interested to learn that the UK have about 34 a year reported. I'd never have thought it. But they are puffs of wind compared to yours, and the rest of the tornado world. At least Seth was all prepared, and Emma is safe, at least she is at the moment while Seth checks things out.

I think you need to take a look at your author's notes, LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one to make such clangers. Lol. .....

I appreciate dropping you and leaving reviews and support your of my writing... I think you meant....

This chapter sure hits home with all the severe weather and rash of tornados that have been sweeping across the country this season. And thanks for the video. I knew we got more than our fair share of them, but had no idea they numbered 1,000. Thanks for sharing.

As always, compelling dialog, entirely credible. Gripping scene--hope Beth Shelby reads this--she had a stupendous tornado experience! Glad I caught this one--have been offsite too long.

Sorry to be tardy. My computer bit the dust and using a new one which I have problems with getting used to. Your story is right on about the weather we have been having. Romance, I smell romance.

Thank you for the kind review. I don't like getting adjusted to new computer. Mine is about dead and I hate the thought of replacing it.

Unclear: The keys are the same.
Is he referring to the keys to the new locks? Or does he mean the keys are the same as the ones to the old locks? If referring to the new locks, suggest: (These) keys are the same.

Perhaps explain what the red light is? Is it on the radio?

Tornadoes are the scariest things, next to hurricanes! I used to hang out in the basement with my toddler during tornado warnings when I lived in Michigan. Scary times.

Great description of the storm. They're so smart to have those shelters. There was a tornado in Indiana about a week ago, in a town south of where I live. It adds realism to your story, as that's something that's sure to happen in Texas. Good details about Seth directing the police what to do to help out in the aftermath. Great bits with the dogs. I think they add so much to the interest, as well as saying something about their owners. I don't know that the dancing bit is necessary. judi
