This is a very prettty form of poetry and I love the subject of taking a walk down a long winding path as night starts to fall and all the creature and fairies you encounter along the way. Nicely done.

This was a wonderful Lauranelle, damommy. The picture was great in that it enticed one to walk along the path. Your words took on a majikal sense of a deliberate one. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!!

painted a great picture for readers even if one hadn't been
included. Your rhymes worked perfectly. Great job, too, on
the smooth flow of words and lines. The repeated refrain fit in
seamlessly. I liked all the critters you encountered on this walk.
I liked the way you wrote whip-poor-wills. The inclusion of
the fairies added a whimsical element that was fun. You did a
great job with a complex style.

I thought your poem was very well written. It had a good rhyming pattern, as you expected in the Authors note; I enjoyed reading it. I might try that pattern myself. You used descriptive language effectively. I felt like I was there. Great writing gets the most stars I have left! :))
