Hi Norman,
This is a short poem with a lot of images and feelings in it.
It tells about the emotions and effects of abuse and how it
changes one's feeling of security. This seems to be alluding
to being abused at a place of worship.

Your poem hit the nail on the head. Evil is the norm now. It's dangerous to stand up for what is right and Godly. The devil is slick. He knows the right words to say and the right people to use. This was very thought provoking. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

A powerful poem with an important and necessary message, Nomi. Sadly, there is no place safe anymore, grocery stores, schools, and the one place that for centuries has been known as a place of sanctuary: churches/synagogues.

It is sad that no place is safe now. Centuries ago, you could go into a church and seek sanctuary, not now. That 1,000 years when Satan is bound sounds like the perfect time to live.

You are right. None of us are ever completely safe when we go out. We need to ask that God's angels protect us because they are people who who have not regard for human life and they are controled by evil forces. It is so sad when an innocent child in school become a victim. Yes Revelations told us these things would happen.
