Hi Lea,
I like how you give an image of the beauty of all the seasons leading to the many colored beauty of Summer. You remind us how many shades of green there are to see. You also give a feeling of hope in all seasons.

Well done, Lea, this is a great verse in which, as ever, your heart shines through! There is such depth of meaning in your evocative words and the personification and metaphor of the seasons are a delight to read. Though all skilfully done, the last stanza is my favourite. Your whole verse is also very readable (for me) in its structured yet free verse style. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Wow! You are so many things. i just reviewed the poem where you were a hurricane. Loved this , which remindsme of a line from my favorite play, "The Fantasticks":"Who can tell why spring is born of winter's fiery reign.. Or why we must all die a bit before we are born-again?.

As I recently broke my clavicle and 3 ribs I am forced to not move about so I am spending y time reading and posting.
I am drawn to your poetry as I find your use of words so refreshing...so very different...they take me to a different place... if that makes sense.
I am going to fan you so I do not miss anything you write..

Lea, I can only say that while I've been away you have continued to grow and have gotten even better at wordcraft! This poem reads crisp and new...with alliterative touches that enhance it, and such original phrasing I am caught up and find myself going back to the top to read it again!
