This is a very enticing and mysterious poem...makes me want to know more...would be a great way to start a book. As well, the artwork is stunning and a perfect fit for the poem. Good job.

Hmm, well this could mean several things. One, the reunion went from zero to good morning tiger, really fast. I like those personally. or Things did go as planned and someone was stood up. I don't like those.

This seems like it was written to capture the experience of being disappointed by someone who was supposed to show up but didn't. To me, it could also be a reflection of feelings at the death of someone. As I was reading the poem, it reminded me of an old expression "all dressed up with nowhere to go."
