This is a master piece of poetic expedition. The imagery there in was so rich and powerful that the message of the poem could be seen standing naked on my screen. I enjoyed the read. Well done, and good luck in the contest.

Well, for one the theme is 'darkness', and you got it right, the content is and ought to be ..."DARK"... So, good job, and as to the poetic value, I think it's all good, the words are powerful and the flow is great.

This is a dark write about hatred and deceit and some can only get ahead by cheating others as they believe this is the only choice they have. Of course this is a misguided view, a poignant write, love Dolly x
