I gave you your third vote. I was torn between "Love Really Hurt" and your poem.
I enjoyed your poem but it also mentions happy tears ( which is off topic). I like the contrast you did but the contest is on sadness.
I enjoyed the examples you mentioned. Nice rhyme too.

This is a good entry into the Sadness Rhyme Poetry contest. The text is a great size. The message is stated with clarity and is easily understood. Your rhyme scheme is done okay.
However, your poem box needs to be expanded. Drop the first line down one space and go to the last word and hit enter once. Now there should be spacing around your text. Good spacing adds to the presentation.
The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.
