Ciao!
This made me smile.
Also I don't think God would mind if a dog was in church .
St.Francis loved animals and blessed them .
Congratulations on the win!

I am so glad my story made you smile. Rockwell?s art makes it easy to write stories like this. Many thanks for the congrats and that bonanza of stars. Rod

Congratulations on your win, Rod. Your words plus
the picture paired perfectly. Your little story was fun
to read. Those words were descriptive and well thought
out.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

They let dogs into several facilities, even churches. A short story that had a beginning, plot and ending. Like your idea as a church is a place where anyone can go for comfort.

This is a good entry for the humorous 50 word story contest. You have set the scene with boy late to church - but add a dog, well that makes for an interesting read. Especially if the dog is in genuflecting (a new word for me by the way. Thank you :-) position. Well done on this fun read.

This humorous fifty-word story, A Good Catholic, has the proper word count and finds the quick-witted student handling a sticky situation with a bit of style. Funny.

This is a good entry into the 50 Word Story contest. The text is a great size. The story is stated with clarity and is easily understood. You did a good job with a few words in telling a solid and relatable story. Love your use of the word "genuflecting". It's been a while since I have seen that word. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

I loved your little story. I would like to take my care dog to Mass but dogs are not allowed. So, instead my carer takes me. Good luck in the contest, you have my vote.

Lol. Dogs should be allowed in more public places so long as they are well behaved and well controlled. Humorous short story. Best wishes for the contest.
