Yes, I loved that story. It was a real home spun novel and they should make a movie from it.

I can tell you did not do much editing for just a couple of very small "misses." You can't tell where on(e) town ends
That's no(t) counting the Fort Hood
I still hope someone with take up one or more of your stories and turn it or them into a mini-series or movie. Why don't you approach Hallmark (Larry levinson I think, still?) He does a lot of Christian stuff.

I have a novel in mind to write, but it's a little rough around the edges.

My husband is retired Army after 23 years. We just stayed around. Thank you for the support. You can do it too.
