I like your poem and certainly agree with its truths. You do well with this "water cooler conversation."
One thing you might look at - you've used quotation marks sometimes, but not always, and some of your narrative has open quotes, such as "So far I've had some luck. You might just get rid of them altogether, as they really aren't necessary.

This is so true Willie, we can upset people without knowing it and be struck by abuse that we did not expect. We can innocently review someone on Fanstory and it can be taken the wrong way. Keep your head down. A poignant write Willie, love Dolly x
