Congratulations! I've never had that honour, so I don't really know how to advise. I would just suggest: "Be yourself. Try to relax and enjoy. You have been given this honour because of the merit of your work!" Please let us know how it goes.

I'm happy for you! I've gotten to know a little bit about you these past few months so my advice is this-
You're an intelligent, well informed women author. Be positive and professional as I believe you always are.
Stay steadfast and strong and you'll be phenomenal!
Be sure to let us FanStory family members know how you fared!

Good for you! You're Jessica Fletcher out meeting her fans. If you want to get a lot attention, wear a hat! This is a wonderful opportunity for you, and best of luck. You didn't mention where this is happening. There are few bookstores left. I believe we have one remaining in town. Libraries are a good place, as they attract the readers. They'll be a receptive group, and I'm sure they'll want to know where you get your ideas. A great opportunity for you. judi

I have never been to one, but I've read books that include this event. I would think you tell a little about yourself, your writing, and read a few passages from your book or books. Did they give you any guidelines?

I had copies of a couple of chapters to give out. Then the pertinent information of author and book info. Have good pen and copies of books. Enjoy and ask lots of questions. Let them ask you a lit of questions. Have fun and congratulations. Gretchen
