Oh, I'm so sorry, Jesse. Is she having her surgery now? Do you know the outcome? Will be praying for another caregiver who will bring "sunshine in your lives" again. I liked how you showed us the longing to see Cindy by describing the view from the window looking for her green truck.

Thanks, Helen. You are the only one so far who has mentioned the poem and its significance and I appreciate you and your kindness to see through the notes and comment on the poem. No, she is not having surgery she simply quit to go on to better things in life. She has left a hole in my heart that will mend when a new caregiver comes into my life and mends it.

This is a heartfelt write Jesse and I am so sorry that you had to say goodbye to your favourite caregiver Cindy. We grow attached to people who provide a service to us and they become friends and it is hard to let them go, I feel for you and your poem is a tribute to her, love Dolly x

Thanks, Dolly. Your thoughtful review touches my heart. Yes, I grew attached to her and then she up and quit without giving much notice. It is sad and Sunny and I miss her terribly.
