I hope you can stay in your house and home that has been part of your life for so many years. We do get familiar with the sounds and feel of a place with so many memories of other times.

I know how you feel about an established house--my mom and dad's house was just sold and I feel that loss. If I were more able I would have petitioned to live there with my dog.

Keeping up the maintenance on a house when you are getting older is a trial and it falls into some neglect as we concentrate on the art of living our last days in peace, a fine write and I could identify with your words here, love Dolly x
