I wonder if there could be an organized form of street racing that was off the beaten track and allowed these goofballs to do their thing,. I believe much of this recklessness is driven by the sheer desire to thumb their noses at authority and be the talk of the neighborhood. No matter what the cost. Nice work. Ciao

Films like fast and furious just pump up impressionable teens and youngsters .
I think your assessment is correct they like to be considered badasses and challenge the authorities.
I think la leva ( having to do a year in the army .. I don?t know the word in English) should never have been taken away.
It taught teens discipline and responsibility.

You use the words well in this poem about dangerous games. I like the artwork. It shows the speed and it kind of reminds my of the movie "Tron".
This poem describes well the act of drag racing and the stupidity and danger of it. This is one pass time that shows a way some humans battle with death and the fear of it. Unlike others, like Evel Knievel, who only puts himself in danger. I think his spectators are put at a safe distance if he failed,

I?m a sci fi nerd , I tried to watch Tron but I gave up after 20 minutes .. I don?t like computer generated imagery films.
I had to look up Evel Knievel ..he was a professional stunt man on wheels
I think these teens enjoy the adrenaline rush ..
films like "fast and fury "should not be allowed.

"Tron" seemed so much better when it first came out in 1982 before the present day computers and high tech graphics came out.
