I love this, it contains the most delightful example of childhood innocence. and Poppy's wisdom.
I did however notice a minor error. In the first line of verse five, I think you left out the word (you). I think it should have read; 'Now what do (YOU) remember.'
I just read it again, it deserves more than a six.

Grand children will always put us on spot. I could imagine asking a granpa in his winding years to help resolve mathematical problems when his should be rather history and story of his youths. Well done dear, Paul. It made an interesting read. Good luck in the contest.
