Well Debi, you explained and articulated my dilemma at the moment, I don't usually wake up at this time, I usually sleep well, but I was wide awake at 1:30 am. So I thought catch up on some reviewing, it's now 5:45, but I'm feeling sleepy now. Just love this clever poem, well rhymed, great language, well done, blessings Roy

I loved this! Please keep your phone or pen and paper handy to jot some ideas down. You may even find that those ideas will invade your dreams so that you need to write first thing in the morning, too! And with a writing theme, I hope this does well in the contest!!

I keep the phone in the other room so I can get some sleep. Sometimes, I do climb out of bed and reach for the pen and paper across the room, but it's only when the thoughts refuse to quit.
