A nicely done letter from God for this contest. Good luck. I do like the thought and image of letting one's divine self soar over the gifts of life. Thank you for entering the contest. Excellent work. Terry.

Your letter portrays the very essence of God, His compassion, His forgiveness, His love for each of us. You have written a letter, we are blessed to read, as if addressed to each one of us. Thanks for sharing this with us.

This is a very understanding letter from God, and we do need to know he does love us, even when we falter in serving him. You might want to change; (for-give) yourself.

Hi Carol. thanks however my, intention is that before we can give we must forgive ourselves. I will make a note of this in the author notes section.

We all too often forget that God loves us in spite of our feelings. I enjoyed this letter from God to his son I praise you and thank you that you would write such a wonderful letter. I wish you the very best in the contest. Patricia.

A fine letter from God here where he forgives you and offers you his love, I enjoyed your heartfelt words here John.

Just one small edit here:

. . . and allowed free will (to) run its course.

Love Dolly x

What a beautiful letter from God. This covered the feelings of abandonment, loss and being forgotten. God may not answer our prayers directly, but he never leaves us to suffer alone. Things bigger than us transpire. Helps to know you aren't alone. This was a beautiful poem, letter. Full of hope and reassurance. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

Wonderful reassuring words from the Lord! I liked the reminder of forgiveness and the exhortation to remove everything that fetters! Virtual six!
So good to see you back, Jim. Roy alerted us to be praying for you!

Thanks my dear lady, things kind of went south Tuesday after 4 hours trying to get the pacemaker implanted, they stopped and I have now been setup for another attempt next Monday at a larger medical facility. All prayers are most welcomed.🙏🙏

This is a very comforting letter.
I like the way you've written forgive and the almost synonymous words you have used in the penultimate paragraph: fetter, tie, bind, limit, distort, blind... They create a very poetic rhythm.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Heather thank you for your observation! Gosh, we sure can be hard on ourselves. God simply wants us to love ourselves and one another as he so very much Loves us.

You know your God well Jim. Yes, He lives every moment of our lives, His joy is to be loved and depended on by us, He knew our struggle, our heartbreak, our joy, our failures, our successes before our lives began. And as long as we invited Him into our experience, that was all He asks, that we share our life's experiences with Him, He's there to pick us up, forgive us, and love us, as we would love and enjoy our child. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Thank you for sharing this letter from God for the contest. Truly God does love us all and when we cry out to Him, He hears, and He forgives our sins. His love does not change.
