I love that the actual work with his grandfather made him mostly forget about his computer game. That says a lot because we know that kids are so engrossed in their screen time that they miss out on life. Best wishes in the contest!

This is a good entry into the 80-word flash contest. The text is a great size. The story is well-told and, the plot doesn't seem rushed. That's a feat in 80 words. A bit of manual labor is good for the soul. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.
