I found your poem to be so romantic and tragic. I know it's not the same, but my Boston terrier Lainie died April 20 eight years ago, too. I am sorry for your loss. Best wishes to you.

VERY good choice of words Mr willie...only those who have lost a flower could utter such a pleasurable choice of words. I for one also know this to be true. Thank you for sharing your hearts truth in the matter of emptiness...I hope you stay the course for her...again I thank you for sharing. Have a blessed life...for both of you.

After 60+ years, only death could pull us apart. We met when she was 13 and I was 14. We never parted, she was my first and I was hers. It remained that way until she passed. She is still my one and onlly. Willie
