Willie, She looks as beautiful as I would expect from the poem you wrote. And the poem was beautifully written. A smile which filled the room, humming as she cooked, and holding hands... you'll do all that again one day!

This is a beautiful and heartfelt love poem. I especially love the connection and hope in the last stanza. The simile about her smile being like a flower is lovely. The plain statements about missing going for walks, or talking at dinner, are also lovely, and ground the poem in time and space. This was well done.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Willie. Being together for many years is wonderful, but so hard when one is called home. It's never the same being on your own. If you take your photo of her to a professional photographers, they will clean it up for you and make it like new again. Your poem is a tremendous tribute to your lovely wife.
