Yes it is a bit abstract. It's about what I do outside of writing. I give readings so if you play hiccups on in my head whenever I do I give up reading stories always different. But the feelings are the same. You're fine I really appreciate it. I hope your days are sunny and life is good have a great evening!

This is a great spiritual poem. It grabbed my attention the first sentence, gone was I in the deep vacuum roaring of nothingness. I think you did a fabulous job expressing this poem. Your words gave a lot of thought and meaning to what I feel is taking place in our world. I enjoyed your writing, looking forward to reading more!

What a unique entry for the "My Faith Poetry" contest! "I am merely a phone booth." That's an interesting author's comment. True though, I think... We receive the messages, we (with any luck) decipher them correctly and pass them on through our behavior and with kindness...
I've come to enjoy reading your poem as a whole...and then going back to savor each sentence, gleaning the full meaning.
You have this gift of slipping a bit into "Yoda-speak"
"Not for corporeal eyes the door does turn slight shift right."
Increasingly, I see this gives your unique voice as a a poet some balance!

We had two brothers and their families move to Western NC and our ward church from BC. They relate where they lived was eight-hundred miles North of our border and winters could cool to forty below.

Hellow phone booth.
The term stream of consciousness comes to mind.
I was dubbed a stream some poems ago.
So we flow in the same river.
I love knowing , a very ethereal concept.

Yes I often feel like a stream or a phone booth or a conduit I will not filter anything that comes to me. I just let it fall out of my mouth unfiltered. Not everyone is receptive to that sort of thing thank you again hope you have a great evening!

This is hauntingly excellent! I know it is an odd reference but it makes me think of when I wanted to read Dante's Inferno in the original Latin. Your prose is a 1000 years old yet timeless and perfectly at home on a computer screen today. Wow!
