This is a tool for the anti-Christ. Something, that is spoken by the Word and yet to emerge within the people.
The Holy Spirit is something they will duplicate and will reveal the truth which is Jesus. "I am the Truth." They would try and fool the elect (if possible) but we know the Truth.

Thank you Chuck, I appreciate your comments. I do believe this is something that will be used in a way to make people believe that Christ has returned. If we aren't well aware of truth, it could be a very deceptive allusion. Thank you for the six stars.

A lot of people can't write as well as that, but at least I know that it can't write quite like me, my stamp isn't on it yet...unless a couple of my poems are factored in, then what? But yes, will God allow it. My pastor friend and I were musing on that yesterday...just before I cleaned the church. Beautifully written Beth. Blessings Roy
Typo : Have no regard (fpr) whom. For? 2: ask it to (proform) perform?
3: l want (to) leave you wandering.

Thank you Roy, You have written so many poems, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the things you've written are factored into the mix. We need to say aware of what is happening. God allows things to go for a while before he steps, but he will at some point. Thank you for allerting me to the typo and spags.

Well, AI has a place is the field of medicine/surgery
and industry. I enjoyed your contest entry, Beth. You
gave readers the required information and expanded
on it. Your words were well-thought out with great
examples. I've read that colleges are finding some students
use this app to 'write' their papers etc. Who will ever know. FS
could be inundated with app written entries for everything.
As far a the AI's sonnet, it missed the required rhyme scheme
and the volta.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan

Thank you Jan. I appreciate the review and your comments. I noticed that about the sonnet, but then I read some of the instructions given on line and they indicated there are many different kinds of sonnets with various rhyme schemes and rules. I didn't ask for a Shakesperian sonnet or to follow certain rules. You can be more specific when you ask for it to do something.

This is a chilling work. To think that people would be able to have AI produce something such as a final paper for a degree to become a doctor frightens me, no end. As one who loves to create, I would find that if I were to use this kind of thing, I would feel so incomplete. To me, meeting the challenge of something new is the reward of my life.

Thank you Patricia. I appreciate your thoughts and I'm pleased that you realize the danger this thing poses for the world. When people perfer reading something written by AI than by real people, our need to create won't mean much. Thank you for the six stars.

I considered entering this contest, however, after reading this NO WAY!

Also believe AI is far too advanced and there may well come a day when mankind rues the day they ever messed with the thing.

Point of interest provided in the first paragraph about AI at Dartmouth in 1956.

"tap intp everything" should be tap into everything.

"regard fpr whom" should be regard for whom.

"into you search" should be into your search.

"proform" should be perform.

"I want leave you" should be I won't leave you.

"go to on only" should be go on only.

Very well written.

Thank you, Brett. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this. I agree, this is a direction the world should never have gone and they those who are furthering is development may live to regret it.
I really appreciate you pointing out the spags and awarding me six stars, anyway.

This is really frightening. If there are no people on this earth, and only machines, they also would not have any bodies so they could write any AL poetry. In healthcare, when you have a cat scan, a machine sends the results to a person's profile. Scary isn't it, how life will be a few years from now? There probably won't be any jobs for human beings.

WE keep fooling ourselves into embracing iffy progress. I agree. But the onslaught on technology has surpassed our ability to regulate it. We have become technology junkies.
As shown in your examples, Beth, AI cannot yet create. It can only mimic what has already been created. AI is no Robert Frost or Maya Angelou. As for Shakespeare, the prospect is laughable.

I recall an experiment--AI was challenged to write a mystery novel. The result was pure shlock--even worse than Mickey Spillane.

But that's now. Tomorrow is another threat.

I've jumped off the technology bandwagon, Beth. I never answer my smart phone. I've never taken a picture with my phone. To me an app is Shrimp Cocktail.

But I'm an insignificant old man, so who cares?

Look, so few people took global warming seriously. Here in Connecticut, we're experiencing the warmest winter on record. An anomale?
I don't thing so.

Keep up the good fight.

Peace, Lee

Thank you, Lee. I really appreciate your thoughts. I think you are right that we have already passed the point where this can be controlled, and in the future, things will get much worse. As to the weather in the middle of February it is already 80 degrees F. A few years bad we would still be wearing overcoats and snow boots. Thank you for the six stars.

This is as disturbing as it is incredible. What a road we are heading down when college students are submitting entire papers written by this App, or other AI apps. Professors are having a harder and harder time distinguishing "real" work from that which is generated by AI. To think that this is our future is to strip humanity from our art. I watched some YouTube videos about it, and even went to the App ~ but the idea of giving my personal email and info to such a site unnerved me.

In a world where so little can be trusted, this is yet another way to deceive us and create those all too popular "false facts" and "alternative truths."

I don't like it. Thanks for sharing this, as I will now begin to question a lot more of what I read and see.

(I read that in some colleges Professors are resorting to requesting essays be written in class, without devices available, with pen and paper... OR, alternatively, if they question that a paper has been generated by AI they are refusing to accept it and opting to "quiz" the student with an oral exam)

It's insidious though. Like you, I am disturbed that if I happen to look up "wool socks" ~ I am certain to be inundated with ads for "wool socks" for an interminable amount of time.

Big Brother is watching... And as AI, Big Brother is very frightening!

Thank you so much, Karenina. I appreciate the review and I see you are as concerned as I am about what is happening. I found your in depth comments to be interesting to read. I regret giving out my information to see the site. It is likely I've compromised myself in some way by being too curious.

If it's not there, it will be available in ten other places. I do get paranoid about all of this. Even now, with "two-step" verification...it's yet another ply to get a cell phone number! It's gotten to the point I do not click on any email or text I do not immediately recognize...

I don't think you have anything to fear here Beth. A computer is not a human and humans have empathy and emotions and computers cannot replicate this. The poems that have been created by a computer are cold and lifeless to me. I think technology has advances in leaps and bounds and my daughter's house is controlled by computers, the lights, the locks, the appliances, and I am frightened to speak when I am over there just in case I activate something! Ha ha ha. I enjoyed your informative and well researched writ here, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

Thank you Dolly. I imagine we don't need to be too concerned today but before long they will likely be attempting to install vertual personalities. There will be bias due to whoever installs the information. I enjoyed reading your comments.

Virtual six for this amazing post, dear Beth. This is frightening as I've just been talking with my children and husband about this. Yes, it's even on FS more than we realize. People today don't have a problem like we do plagiarizing and making things up and putting their names on it. Artificial intelligence is making it easier to be something we're not. A cyber world of artificial people. As a Bible prophecy nut, I see that this is the kingdom of the Antichrist foretold that will rule the earth for 7 years in the last days. He will operate in artificial intelligence. We see the beginnings of it now, and have some for a long time since scanning our groceries first came to be. I remember, being in the checkout line at the grocery store and said, "Here we go... the beginning of the end!" We're going there fast.

Sending you my very best,
Sal XOs

Thank you Sally for the review. I read your comments with interest. We seem to be on the same page with where the world is heading and I think Satanic forces will be using this method to deceive even the elect if possible. People need to question everything they see and stop being so quick to believe everything that fits into their political agenda. The enemy is trying to divide and conquer our nation by using fake information make so easy with artificial intelligence. It causes good people to fight among themselves. I'm sure Satan is happy to work with both sides of the political spectrum.

You are most welcome. The Antichrist of the last days certainly will be using this. The father of lies has been at this for a very long time e too. It's just going to become easier. Blessings. Sal
