Enjoying the 'mouth feel' of words is indeed a delight. You used such lovely descriptions in the words you shared, showing personal emotional connections.

I agree (filigree) is a lovely word and I have a delicate necklace with filigree. Gossamer makes me think of spider webs, Halcyon are memories and immortal makes me think I will live forever. I enjoyed your musings here Heather, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

Aren't they marvellous words to feast on, to chew up and digest, this is an excellent ABC poetic entry in this contest Maria, I only speak English, with only a smattering of French and German. So, unlike my wife, who is fluent in three, and a progressing fourth, I am lost for words. Well done, good luck, blessings Roy

Indonesian

Wow!

She said it?s a deceptively difficult language, we have an Indonesian son law, good husband and dad.

Hello Maria. I haven't seen you post something in forever it seems. This is excellent and if I had a sixer I would surely give it to you. This tells of the different sounds of words and the last line I love the most. Where it says you don't need to ask me, I am lucky I have a treasure chest full of sounds!
This is marvelous and speaks of word sounds that honor the usage of language.

I have to confess I've been pretty lazy and haven't written at all.
Thanks so much for your kind review and for the virtual sixer.
Have a lovely Sunday.

No worries. We all go through times like that.
Write when you want to and nothing more.
-
Thanks for understanding. :)

You're welcome, my friend.

Loved this! And yes, we writers are all "word collectors" and you chose some of my favorites: filigree, gossamer, halcyon! I particularly liked "like lace hanging from my mouth." Hope this does well in the contest!
