Ciao!
Obviously, your father 's strength was diminishing rapidly.
It's hard to watch a parent dwindle away especially if, like in your father s case , he was so active.
Not sure what scenario is less tough : a parent that suddenly dies ..which means you don't get time to set any issues straight or to say goodbye.
Or the situation you and your siblings ended up having to face.

I just added to my initial post The Farewell- The Preparation. I am going to add a `B` scene that allows the audience to get a glimpse of how the siblings are interacting with each during this special time. I introduce my mom and will introduce Linnea who is a world renown Oncologist. She will administer morphine and sign the death certificate. As I write the `B` scenes I will add them to the script. I hope to finish them before I head to Croatia. I have 3 finished so far. I need to do a little research so having them done by Monday will be a stretch. Please let me know what you think. I will have 2 more posted later today for Farewell I and II. The Farewell addition was just posted. Thanks for reading.

This is a very interesting and very well written script you have penned in this farewell. You used very good dialogue and very good words. Thank you for sharing. Blessings, teri

It appears that the father is very tired without much energy from the first exhilaration after Marianne entered the room.
I'm hopeful he has enough to see all his children.
Sad, but very well written and conveyed.

Thank you. It was rather traumatic as you can imagine. Thank you taking the time to review.

Sounds like the dad is waning fast. It's good that Marianne understands his need to rest and just be present with him. You have described a tender scene here.
